Annual Golf Tournament
Golf at Duntroon Highlands
Our annual golf tournament is back. Last year we had great weather and a wonderful outing for all. The purpose of this event is to promote club interaction and have fun. It is open to anyone regardless of golf caliber. The format is a four man team, nine hole best ball tournament. You can request a foursome or we’ll set one up for you. The organizer reserves the right to adjust submitted teams to ensure skill levels are balanced. Prizes will be awarded for the winners. Following the golf we’ll meet on the Duntroon deck, overlooking the course, for drinks, a great meal, and a chance to regale our feats on the course. To register please pay via e-transfer at our next Probus meeting (details below).

On Monday, September 11, 2023. And will be paying $3.00 for each of our members.
2) We will be leaving from the Collingwood Legion by 9:00 o'clock
2) We will plan on being there for the 10:00 to 12:00 o'clock tour.
3) We may well want to stay for Lunch, but will confirm this later after we have asked our members to register.
4) We will limit the Maximum number of visitors to 25.

Investment Group
The Investment Group is restarting after the summer break.
The committee consists of Group Leader- Bob Sanelli, Co leader- David Green and Treasurer- Rod Innes.
We are pleased to announce that the Investment Group is under new management and is up and running. Our speaker/presenter for May 9/23 by popular demand will be Jamie Carrasco. Jamie is a well-informed individual and professional. His presentations are of great interest and are on BNN on a regular basis. The meeting will be at the Collingwood Library from 9.30 am. to 11.30am, In the Free Schools World Literacy Room. We are looking forward to a good attendance.
The Library provides music, coffee and nibbles starting at 12.00 noon on Tuesdays. Our group is welcome and encouraged to attend. You can bring a Bag Lunch, eat and enjoy the vinyl music and a slide presentation. The program consists of live music or vinyl on alternating Tuesdays.
The first two Investment Group meetings will be May 9th/23 & June 13th/23. (Second Tuesday of the Month).
There will be No Meetings during July & August.
Meetings will restart on September 12th, and be on the second Tuesday of the following months, unless otherwise advised.
The cost to cover expenses will be $3 per person per meeting attended.
