The Probus Paddlers group update
Hi Paddlers It's time to think spring, even though the snowbanks are high right now.
The snow pack will release a significant amount of water which will affect our season starting trip on “Lake Willow” As you know this lake which appears for about one month each year, is a unique phenomenon in the Minesing Wetlands. We cannot predict the exact time we will paddle this lake, as it’s up to our Guide to choose the date. It should be around May 1. Those who have signed up for this trip will be notified by email when the time comes. The committee has created a preliminary trip schedule which is posted on our Paddling site. Spring is coming, paddles up!!!
